The Symbol Search allows you to look for symbols based on a keyword, then select one or more contracts from the search results to add to your quote board. The Symbol Search tool is always visible when the quote is the Active Window:
To Search for Symbols
Enter one or more
keywords to search for, and click Go.
Multiple keywords are separated by commas.
Result: The Symbol Search dialog box is displayed. If
you entered multiple keywords, any symbol containing one of the keywords
in their description will be returned.
To find the symbol
you want, use the drop-down list in the Symbols field. The exchange on
which the symbol is traded is listed in parentheses next to the Symbol
Description.
Next, select the
contracts you wish to add to the quote, and click OK
when done:
To select a range of contracts, click on the first one you desire, then hold the Shift key and click on the last one desired. The entire group is selected.
To select multiple contracts (not in a range), click on the first one you desire, hold the Control key, then continue selecting additional contracts. When finished, release the Control key.
