Alert Notification Properties

There are two types of alerts that can be set, based on the Alert Notification Properties you set:

• visual alerts

• email alerts

To set your Alert Notification Properties

1. Open a quote board, then right-click to display the context menu.

2. Select Alerts, then select Alert Notification Properties.
   
   Result: The Alert Notification Properties dialog box displays:
   
   

3. Check the type of alerts you wish to receive (Show Message Box, or Send Email).

4. If you check Send Email, you must provide your Mail Server, the Port number used for outgoing mail, and the email address to which the alert should be forwarded.

5. Click OK when done.
